Meticulous selection of Cabernet Sauvignon batches was done. The result were two batches, each contributing to the aromatics and the mouthfeel. The Helderberg parcel brings red fruit and refined tannins, where the Devon Valley parcel brings black fruit and sturdy tannins. Beautiful synergy between these two wards, does Stellenbosch proud.
A combination of punch downs and automatic pump overs were done to extract optimum colour, fruit and tannin. Maximum fermentation temperature of 28°C. Malolactic fermentation in barrel. 18 months in a combination of first and third fill barrels.

This vibrant Cabernet Sauvignon with a deep garnet center has notes of bramble berry and blackcurrant on the nose. Velvet smooth tannins and infused notes of violets and graphite coats the palate. The distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon aromatics represents the beauty of the region Stellenbosch. With refined tannins the wine is very accessible now but will also benefit from maturation for 2 to 4 years
Ready to drink but will develop favourably in bottle for 5 or 8 years.
